The RACGP’s president-elect says he will push for GPs to be allowed to charge a fee on top of bulk-billed consults.
Dr Harry Nespolon, who will take charge of the college from October, has pledged to lobby the government to change the law so patients will no longer have to wait for Medicare rebates after being privately billed.
