A quick guide to the RACGP’s new standards for general practices
THE RACGP has released the initial draft of the fifth edition Standards for General Practices.
The document contains a number of new “indicators” that practices must meet to obtain accreditation. Some are optional, some mandatory.
Consultation on the document, which the college claims is less prescriptive than previous versions, opens today and runs until 1 April.
The college says about 75-80% of practices opt for accreditation.
